Districo team was happy to present our brand new TPU yarns range on the booth of our partner company COATYARN.
Many products, fully made with our TPU Evolution coated yarns, were displayed on our booth and also in the Innovation area: knitted bags, knitted sneakers, knitted garments, outerwear, knitted and protective garments, indoor and outdoor furniture...
TPU yarns can bring many added value to a product : rubber and soft effect and handfeel/excellent abrasion and impact resistance / nice visual effect/UV stable/ reinforcement/shaping/ easy-cut fabric/ waterproof if TPU completely melted/…

We will present the Grilon fusible bonding and binder multifilament yarns and more particularely the Grilon (MS) Matrix Soluble range, specifically designed for the demanding composites applications.

Grilon^® MS (phenoxy) yarn, now available in various counts for more versatile applications.
Grilon^® MS (phenoxy) nonwoven veil, now available in various weight.

Our new phenoxy resin based yarns can be used for weaving and stiching. It has the function of a thermobinder and is dissolved in the Epoxy matrix during curing. It could hepls also to create composites with improved mechanical properties.

Our latest inovation is the Grilon MS non woven, wich can be used as a binder-veil to bond and stabilize carbon fiber fabrics, or preforms.

GRILON® Matrix Soluble yarn ( MS yarn), our new and innovative phenoxy resin based continuous yarn, has won the 2007 JEC Award Innovation Programme in the Process Category
